It’s a familiar chorus around St. Andrew’s, aimed at little-known opposition players. And Blues fans might be forgiven for asking the same question about the club’s shirt sponsors, F&C.

By their own admission, F&C isn’t a household name. But they are BIG players in the financial world.

They are in the top 250 companies quoted on the London Stock Exchange; they manage investments of over £95 billion - that’s not far short of what the whole Premiership turned over a couple of years ago; they have over three million clients worldwide; and they are Europe’s leading company in ethical investments. Yes, big players, they most certainly are.

And this season, we’ll have their name emblazoned on our shirts and all over the stadium after they signed a multi-million deal to sponsor Blues for the next three years.

 

F&C has had a long association with football through its third year sponsoring the League Managers Association, the union for football managers as well as being a community partner of Hibernian which involves a programme of activities including ‘Dads and Lads’ training sessions and giving away thousands of tickets to underprivileged children.
